The latest branch meeting on the 15th January we were happy to host a visit from the departing County Chairman John Boisson. John who is a serving soldier working from the STANTA had returned hot foot from Salisbury Plain to be at our meeting. It was to be his last attendance at any branch meeting before he hands over to the new County Chairman Hugh King. John has been a constant source of support to the branch and a great assistance in it's growth, renewed vigour and development. To that end he was presented with a small token of appreciation and symbol of friendship in recognition of that support and friendship. John is moving on to become our regional representative on the membership council, so it is good to know we have a friend in that role. During John's time as county chairman Watton branch has doubled in size, Norfolk has grown to 62 branches and is bucking the national recruiting trend. It was a pleasure to have him at our meeting and hope he will find the time to visit again and update us as to his activities in his new role. We wish him all the best and thank you.
