Norfolk Rededication Service

This year Aylsham branch hosted the rededication service for the Norfolk branches and were excellent hosts too. Planned with military precision (what did we expect) and the weather was on form as well. In all 18 branches were represented by their standards and members. I went with Helen our secretary and Steve took our standard. We set off from the drill hall on Cawston road at 1100 sharp to march to the Church behind Alysham brass band. They are very good and managed to keep most of us in step!! The rededication service was integrated into the normal morning service with a few added RBL twists. After the last post and Nation Anthem The standards paraded outside for inspection by General The Lord Dannett. Then we all adjourned to the town hall for drinks and cakes, to catch up with mates and socialise. The refreshment were excellent and all served with a smile. All in all a good morning out you should try it next time.
