Sunday Lunch

It's been a while since the last post, due in no small part to my flying South for the winter for 3 months. But we are back and all is progressing as usual with the latest social event requested by the working members of the branch. they pointed out that they were not able to attend the lunches held so far so we decided to have a Sunday lunch, and I'm pleased to say most supported the event. We were treated exceptionally well, as usual, at Richmond Park golf Club in Watton. The age range was 10 - 94 with Oscar at 10 the son of one of our most recent members, who is a serving FS at RAF Marham. Our most senior member was also on parade at 94 a bomber boy who was a rear gunner in Lancasters. The whole meal was most convivial and about 3 hours later we mostly decided it was time for an afternoon nap, and looking forward to our next event. In fact things are picking up as we now have a social night on Tuesday and a Barbeque with the families club on Friday/ It helps if you're retired to keep up with the social life!!
