Best turn out yet

Our latest lunch outing saw the biggest turn out to date and would have been more but for the fact that several senior members had an important meeting to attend.

That said, the assembled masses all tucked into a hearty lunch provided by Richmond Park golf club in Watton. We had members who flew in Lancaster's and were a part of the D-Day landings to our newest who joined that day. The atmosphere was jovial and everybody commented on how good the meal was, even Larry, although as a Yorkshire man he thinks Norfolk chefs serve too many chips!! I'm not sure all would agree with him on that. There was plenty of banter as you would expect and we had a chance to catch up on all the latest news around the branch and town. It was all ably organised by our secretary who suggested someone else might like to organise the next lunch as she and me will be flying South for the winter. So it's likely the blog may end here for a month or three.
