More tea Vicar?

The beautiful sunny afternoon of the 24th of August saw the members and friends invited to afternoon tea with the Padre The R

ev Gerry Foster, at the vicarage. In all about 20 were treated to an outstanding selection of sandwiches, scones (with clotted cream), cake and fruit loaf as well as copious amounts of refreshing and quintessentially tea.

The conversation and refreshments were never in short supply among those present who represented our newest and youngest member to our most senior tail end Charlie "Bomber Boy". The sun shone, the tea flowed and all too soon the afternoon was gone in a flash. Like they say "Time fly's when you're having fun". The leftovers were divvied up and the merry band went their separate ways, but the gang is growing and one of the founding branches is alive and well. Come along and meet us, we don't bite, honest!
