Members lunch

This is the fourth members and friends lunch we have held this year, we try to have a lunch meeting on the alternate months to the branch meetings. So far we have been to the Willow House in Watton, The Hare and Barrel in Watton, The Wagon & Horses in Griston and this month we were looked after very well at Watton Sport Centre. The Centre Manager KC Jones MBE (an ex Royal Anglian RSM) made us his own recipe chicken curry, which was most enjoyable, but those not brave enough to try that sampled the delights from the normal bar menu. There were 17 people attending, of which 10 were members and of the remaining 7 one became our newest member after meeting such a friendly bunch. The aim is to visit as many of the lunch venues in the Watton and District patch and then start over again. The next outing is to be decided but sometime in the next month of two we are invited to afternoon tea at the vicarage, I hope everyone is on their best behaviour for that one!
