Spring update

The secretary and I have just returned from a 2 month tour of the southwestern USA, but that doesn't mean it's all been quiet in Watton. The scheduled meeting in March took place with some more new members attending and a short get together afterwards. In April the branch and friends met up again for lunch which everyone enjoyed. Now we are busy into planning the summers events so this months meeting will start that off and a week later begin planning for the remembrance parade.

In June we have a quiz (with a military slant) and curry night at Wells Cole community centre on the 16th. On the 13th and 14th organised trips to the STANTA battle training area, tickets still available from Watton Sport centre at £10 a head, leaving about 4PM and returning there early evening. On the 23rd we have another members and friends lunch at the Wagon and Horses in Griston and looking forward to that enormously. So you can see there is plenty going on if you want to come along and join in whilst helping our military family give us a call. Back soon!
